Margo, thanks for keeping us informed about Sue and Jack's progress (or sometimes lack of it). I know they must realize how many people in the quilting world are anxiously hoping for good news from them and that our thoughts are with them as they continue the struggle.

I HOPE that someone prescribes Jack LIDODERM / LIDOCAINE 5% PATCHES for his bone pain. I used them after my car accident when I had back / hip fractures and they were great for taking the edge off the pain... They are applied 12 hours on 12 hours off. Those patches were what got me through physical therapy.

These patches are used in REHAB post injury/ accident and other areas of the hospital do not think to order them as they are not familiar with their useage. Communication is not the long suit in hospitals... they are just too specialized. I had to do a song and dance to get them after my last knee surgery, but the doctor was amazed at my shorten recovery. He also got them ordered for himself when he had surgery and said he was surprized at how helpful they were. I noticed he now orders them for all his patients. ( I work in the same recovery room as my doctor.)
