Ohhh, good choice! I've always liked that one and never could understand why it wasn't snapped up right away!

If you go to www.alzquilts.org and type in the quilt number in the search box, it will go right to it. Nice quilt!

Important info.

TQS and I are doing the challenge for AAQI. This way whatever rules or surprises we do, we just do them. Ami has a lot of regulations she has to follow, so it is much easier for me to coordinate on my own (WITH TQS's WONDERFUL HELP OF COURSE!). If there are any questions, post on the forum or send me an email through TQS.

So far, we have 10 quilters in and another has already purchased a quilt.

Come and join the fun.

I donated one through my guild back in September - it is quilt number 8864 - it isn't for sale yet, but it will be one day if anyone is interested in buying it!
I can make more Clara.

I will make some plans and get back to you on when and how many.....

Hint to view some quilts already on AAQI.

Go to their website and type in the quilt number. Pop the quilt will appear, if it has been processed and photographed already.

Look, here is LenaR's quilt. #8864. Nice. Lena, what is that name of that pattern?

One more thing. I am putting this challenge on with the huge help from TQS. Think of it as a giant present for AAQI. When we do this ourselves, well we can throw in all the surprises and fun we want.

Clara, I picked that quilt because it is how my heart feels when I see my family member dealing with this awful disease. Please let me know when you put your gorgeous quilts on the site. I would love to have one. I will also be making a few this year. Cathe

I completely understand.

When I get mine done, I might be yelling it from my porch. Been trying to get these done. Now, I'm public and the pressure is on. Hee Hee. Clara

Clara, I'm the proud owner of nos. 2072, 2096, and 2098.

I just wish I had more money to buy more, and more time to make some.

Clara: I called it "Twisted Fading Memories"... Made with a 1" finished square Twister template - the border fabric is working its way into the twists causing part of the twisted "memories" to move away from the main ones. My mom helped me with finishing it up nicely.

Hopefully my explanation makes sense to others - my mind makes some weird twists itself sometimes!
