When is it? DH & I are planning to go but we only get a week end trip. We have to look up motels close by. I bet we need to book early to get a room.

I'm trying to decide if I want to do a one day bus trip. I am doing one to the Chicago show.

I wish...! The only year I managed to get hotel reservations & sign up for a bunch of classes, I ended up moving coast-to-coast instead, & had to cancel my trip. :(

Maybe next year!

My local guild had a bus trip planned but, due to lack of response, had to cancel. My husband would load up the RV and take me but his Mexico fishing trip is the same date. So I'm afraid I won't be there. Boo hoo. All of you, please come to Houston in October!

Carolyn

Tell DH to wait till June we are going to Mexico then we have afew fishermen going deep sea fishing in our group while were in Mexico on vacation-they set there fishing trip up over at Porta Aventerous,we have some friends that own there own fleet of boats, they give us a pretty good discount. Just look for Glenna in one of the shops. So just head on down in your Rv. to Paducah !!!We are 21-25.

Kathy - Thanks so much. Doug is a fly fisherman and they go down almost to Belize for a week every year. His reservations are made and paid for. No Paducah for me this year. You're a sweetheart for giving me an alternative. You'll just have to have fun for me and let me know how it goes when you get home. Carolyn

I'll be there from Monday through Saturday. I waited way too long to register for classes and only got into two that I really wanted, but there's lots to do in and around Paducah so I plan on making a grand vacation of it.
Does anyone know if there will be a TQS presence there? Last year Alex, Ricky and Libby L. did a Super Seminar which I attended and it was a chance to meet at least a few of my TQS buddies. Hope to see lots of you there this year.

paducah

Postby Keneilwe » Fri Mar 13, 2009 6:42 pm

I have never been to Paducah before, but I entered a quilt this year and got in! I don't know anything about how the show is set up,
can anyone tell me a little bit about it? Is everything set up in the Expo Center that they are remodeling? How hard is it to get parking at the
Park and Ride?

We reserved a hotel that is pretty far away from Paducah...what are the
chances of getting a hotel closer in at the last minute?

I appreciate anything that anyone can tell me! Thanks!!
