John, I've searched the forum to try to find out what the various icons mean beside the topices. Some are blue, some red, some move and some static. There must be a list somewhere but I've not found it.

Red means there has been a new message posted since you last visited the forum. I think the scrolling icon means it's a tpic with lots of pages of messages. But I'm not sure about the itsy-bitsy red star that's in some of the icons.
