Month Four (April) Ruffled Roses

Are you ready to start another new day with a new pattern? I hope so – life is great and affords us many opportunities to start fresh and new – and today is a great day to start making a new quilt: Ruffled Roses. Each month, you will find the pattern for part of this quilt online. Just print the instructions, cut, stitch, press… and before you know it, time will have passed, and you will be ready to enjoy your own Ruffled Roses quilt. What a wonderful way to start each month!

Thanks Rita and Nancy. After I get my other quilt ready for quilting, I think I'll start on the baskets and just do them all so that I can go in order and get the next border on. Although that might make me a little crazy with all the paper piecing so it might be better to go between baskets and that last pieced border. Choosing the fabric colors takes me the longest time. I'm painfully slow.

Terry and JoJo, your quilts so far are beautiful. I love the colors in both of them. Those baskets went more quickly for me after I made up my mind to power through them. That worked better than making two a month. After a while I got the hang of it :D . It's a lot of work but the end result will be stunning. Kathy

JoJo, your quilt is so amazing! I love the colors, the substitutions you've made in design--everything about it! Thanks for posting. :D :D :D Enjoy your break; I look forward to seeing more as you come to the end of it.

Hi JoJo - I know what you mean about the time it takes to choose the colors. That's what's taking the most time for me on the Sedona Star quilt. But it's worth it!

JoJo and Terry, Kudos for sticking with your last year's BOM and making wonderful progress! They are both beautiful! You two should get together for a sew day just for working on them! That would be special!
