Specific fabric exchanges

Specific fabric exchanges

Postby Margo » Thu Jan 20, 2011 8:30 am

For those not interested in batiks or scrappy exchanges, please post a request here.

Hopefully smaller groups interested in more specific fabric exchanges can contact each other!

I'd love a strip exchange of Civil War era reproduction fabrics.

Here is what I am thinking--if there are enough interested in doing batiks and cream--I would be willing to do the collecting and redistributing. Let's see what happens.

I'd be willing to join in that one, Ritzy!

I'm also interested in green (mostly batik) with cream/white/beige.......AND, how about reds (batik or regular cotton) with cream/white/beige! Anyone???

I'm interested -batik with neutral print. this is what I thought the swap would be about originally. (Keep your 30's fabric outta my quilt!!) LOL! I would also love OLDER batiks, not stuff you recently bought. That would make it so much more interesting. Paula

I believe the reproductions would be for another group if someone wants to head it up. My thought is that I would like the batiks with a cream/beige/white on the opposite side. Rather than having the other group separate the batiks with a print. I hope I am making sense. Anyway I will keep watch of this thread and I will let you know when were ready to go.

I'm hoping for a 1800's exchange...Civil War, DAR and the like...HST or strips. I'm in the "big" exchange, so will wait and see what happens here for down the road. Anyone else...1800's...?

I'd be up for a civil war fabric exchange in strips or squares 6" or larger

Ritzy, does the cream have to be a batik also OR can the cream be a tonal print? I have lots of creams for applique projects, but none that are batiks.
