CMOELLERS wrote:Good Morning,

I just wanted to take the time this morning to let everyone know I am receiving your wonderful quilts and stories. I have been trying to respond to each email but in the last few days I have received so many it has been hard to reply to each one of you. I will eventually get you all emailed back. I will also be posting a list to make sure I have not missed anyone. It is month end at the clinics and so I will be occupied with work stuff for the next couple of days :( . But when all the statements are mailed and bills are paid I will get the list compiled and post it here. It will be sometime around the May 10th - 15th. I can't wait for all you to see this wonderful thing we have created. It is just amazing!!!! Each day my heart is touched with the beautiful quilts and stories.

Have a wonderful day everyone!!!

Carol

Delizabeth, You might have missed Carol's post saying how hard it was for her to keep up with the number of emails arriving during the last few days. Lois

Lois, Thank you. After working so hard to get the quilts finished, I'm just a little nervous that she may not get the pictures. I'll give Carol the much needed time to go through ALL the emails. .....Doreen

For anyone that has posted an image of the quilt or quilts, don't forget to also post in the show n tell section. Look for the Friendship Triangles and load them up. That way we can truly have a little quilt show of our own by flipping through them.

Now there is an idea!

What competitions would there be?

100 m runnning stitch
200 m running stitch
400 m running stitch
4 x 100 m running stitch relay

perhaps we ought to open up another thread for this and see if anyone else runs with it!

My quilting buddies.

We are done with our big projects or so close we are still pushing through. I think now is a good time for an invitation. What scraps do you have around? Any hsts or partial block or maybe strips?

A 9x12 (inches) size quilt (no bigger) is what I am talking about. Come join me and my challenge that runs for one year and create a 9x12 block for Alzheimer's. I recently lost someone to Alzheimer's and I am putting my emotions to work for me. So, that's why all the passion. We are looking for all types of tiny quilts.

Check it out on the forum.

Lotti and I after eating her version of Rita's Tea Brack, cuddling under my quilt. She signed her square for me! Thanks Lotti!.
Irish recipe made by a Swiss lady given to a Canadian gal? How that for an exchange? Great fun and great friends!
