Quilter's Home magazine

Quilter's Home magazine

Postby bar7700 » Mon Aug 20, 2007 4:25 pm

I came across this magazine that I had not noticed before. Mark Lipinski's Quilter's Home. It's a hoot! The Sept./Oct. issue has high school pictures of...... Kaye England, Ricky Tims, Eleanor Burns, Alex Anderson, Karen Combs, and Libby Lehman. Oh my, Alex Anderson and I graduated in the same year! Very cute pic!

Barbara,
I have been picking up that mag for several issues now. I like it a lot, too. Mostly because it's stories, info and articles about quilting instead of one pattern after another. And, as you say, it's a hoot!
I hope Mark continues to do well with it.

I, too, love this mag. It is refreshing which offers a different perspective on quilting.

I enjoy his magazine too. Especially the common sense gadget section. He makes me laugh!

I LOVE QH magazine! It always has the funniest articles. Mark also has a Yahoo group. It's full of great people and really is a blast! Subscription cards will be in the next issue! Yeah!!!!

Finally!!

Postby JudyinOhio » Mon Aug 20, 2007 7:11 pm

I'm delighted to read that the Quilter's Home magazine is finally going to be available by subscription. I live in a small town and there's only one newstand (Kroger's) where I've been able to find it and sometimes I've missed an issue. Thank goodness I'll be able to subscribe. It is indeed a "kick" to read this magazine from cover to cover because it is not the same old same old .... Mark is one clever dude.

Yeah! Finally a subscription to QH. I picked up my first copy at JoAnn's one day and have tried to get it there when I go. From the first copy, I was hoping for a subscription. Glad to know, they are going in that direction. I just giggle all the way through it. Definitely a different quilting magazine.

If you're as hooked as I am, you can buy back issues online. I have ordered from www.kindredquilts.com. Toby, the owner, is a friend of Mark's, is very helpful, and ships VERY quickly!

Thanks for introducing this magazine to me. I'm off to buy a copy now. I always look forward to a good read and this sound like just the ticket.

Quilter's Home gives us in a printed format exactly what we're seeing on The Quilt Show - fresh, exciting quilting news and info - delivered in a personal and "non-stuffy" format. Kudos to both ways of getting information to us!
