I am definitely going to make a trip to the Festival of Quilts in Birmingham next year. :D

Hope to see you there 8) :D

Our own MargaritaW is on the front row right hand side (as we look)on the aisle, wearing a waistcoat with flying geese up each side, the same as in her profile photo. The gentleman next to her is her husband, who's name I think is Joe. I waved to you Margarita :D :D :D

Thanks, Pam. I thought that was MargaritaW.
Nice to verify it!

Does anyone know if Tom Russell has written a book about his quilting?
Rita I have just sent an e.mail to the Button Company asking if they are going to be at the FOQ this year the info on their website only goes to 2011.
I will be at the FOQ for 2 whole days on my own able to look at what I want for as long as I want "BLISS"

This was a wonderful show. I have been sewing on beads and buttons for years, but his methods are clearly superior and will improve my own application. THANKS!!! I especially liked the beautiful and inventive button sewing on his sampler.

What a great show! For me, this one was way too short! I hope Tom will be back for more segments. I loved his enthusiasm and look forward to trying his techniques because they looked easier than what I've done!

Tom Russell is very talented in quilting and with the imbellishment, Wow !
I made his quilt when I saw it on Simply Quilts, gave it to my best buddie
I called it a happy quilt.
