I need a ruse to get my husband to read the posts in this thread, so he doesn't think I'm the ONLY sewing machine fanatic on the planet.
I have:
Bernina 140 - my first Bernina. Wonderful, but no knee lift, needle up/down or half motor speed. However, I just can't sell it; it's my backup machine.
Bernina 153QE - use for most piecing and quilting of smaller quilts.
Janome Jem Gold - small and light weight. Use for classes or for guest machine.
Brother PQ1500 straight stitch machine - use on my New Joy quilting frame.
Singer Serger - bought it on clearance at Wal-Mart for $95. Works great so far.
I'm off to Kansas City this weekend to visit my DS, DD and DGD (7 months). I'm thinking I might need to buy a machine to keep there so I don't have to haul one
