I want to make purses / pocketbooks / totes

I want to make purses / pocketbooks / totes

Postby LadyRags » Mon Apr 02, 2007 9:47 am

I am looking for some simple purses and totes patterns ...( free on the Internet) cause this is not my usual type of sewing. Can anyone post links to purse patterns.

I want to make several for shower gifts/prizes of various sizes ...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Anna

You should check all the different machine sites, Bernina, viking, Pfaff, Janome, ETC..... they ALL have free projects and are a wealth of information for ANY project ideas. Also good 'ole HGTV.com and DIY.
Happy searching

PURSES TOTES

Postby snowplow3840 » Mon Apr 02, 2007 5:50 pm

i MAKE PURSES AND TOTES AND OTHER SMALL ITEMS GREAT GIFTS AND GREAT WAY TO USE UP MY "REST OF'S" ( Ihave a friend that refuses to have leftovers so rest of's are what we eat or what we didn't use in our last project) I make my own patterns Usually look at a tote, purse etc and then draw a quick sketch to help me remember. Made one from a picture in the paper of one by a well known design company that was selling this small evening type bag for almost $200.00. admitedly fancier fabric but not that much e mail and I will be more than happy to share my designs or help you make your own (and I am not an artist) ANN

Here's a site with some free bag patterns. They sell lots of other cute ones, too!
