Aquisition of Neutrals :)

Aquisition of Neutrals :)

Alex is soooo right. It's not easy to find nice and interesting 'Neutrals'. But I managed to find some that appeal to me. Here is a link to a picture.

I know I can pop a picture here into the message, but I have forgotten how to do it. I still remember my name... just.

And so I bristle when the salesperson says "well, you sure bought a lot of nice fabrics, what are you making?" LOL (writing from China, where we have travelled to see the eclipse!!)  8) :D :D

I just tell the salesperson that I collect fabric. They ask no more questions while they look at me as if I were from another planet.

Lorchen, I love what you picked out! Now, if you would just come over here and help me a little, please? I should warn you, it's 100
degrees here today.

Yikes! I'm staying here, JoAnne. Whenever it gets hot here I want to emigrate to the North Pole. :)

Great neutrals, Lorchen!

I have also been bit by the neutral bug. Earlier this year I bought Alex's book and assorted neutrals and made the Pinwheels and Stars quilt from that book. Instead of a square shape I made it longer for more of a sofa or lap quilt. I finished the top about a month ago. I love it. I will post after I quilt it.
