Sue and Jack. You both continue to be in my prayers. Stem cells have miraculous healing potential. Be strong, lean on and feel the support of others - seen and unseen - during this time.

Margo, wonderful to see this post! And thanks for dating it, too! I kept going back to the old one and scanning back thru the pages to see if any NEW news.

The news is good - MD Anderson - we are so lucky to have such a facility here in Houston! One of my best friends just retired from working there as an NP - and loved working there and had great respect for the quality and quantity of miracles every day.

We trust we are already seeing one in Jack's progress. Next: was it 'wipe and load?" Go for it!!!!

God Bless (and just let those kiddos sit in your lap and snuggle!)

Margo thanks heaps for the update on Jack and Sue. Like myself a lot of the TQS family cant help but wonder how you both have been going at this time. You are boht in my thoughts and I am thrilled that things are progressing so well.

And if I may copy the words of Wandam and say also I'll pray for Jack's stregnth through this next round of treatments. Your positive outlook and what you have wrote brought tears to my eyes. Remember to take care of yourself also.

Love,
Jill

Sue and Jack's courage and attitude during this difficult time have been a true inspiration to me and my husband. We are so glad that Jack has such a wonderful team of doctors taking care of him and hope that all the treatments are successful.

Sue and Jack-
The emotional strength that the two of you exhibit is mindboggling. It is amazing the number of assaults on our bodies we can stand up to with the love and support that you Sue are providing for Jack. Please know that both of you are in my thoughts as you enter this next phase; all of us here in the TQS family are hopeful that, with remission, your lives will return to an even keel.

Margo, I'm very glad you thot to give us this update.

Sue, I've been going thru my own medical issues - nothing as intense as yours - but keeping me at doctors and hospitals several times a week since last Aug. I have a habit when I'm going thru stuff of praying for someone I know going thru something worse each time my heart gets weary or I'm praying for myself and I've been wondering about Jack daily. I'm glad to know about his struggle with pain because this has been my greatest nemesis too and I can't imagine what he's going thru. I hate that pain has a way of being in the driver's seat and have been struggling to find out how to live gracefully with it myself. And I also teared up reading how the doctors are caring about you as people. I had to work hard to get them to see me as a person. I kept telling them I was feeling like a co-pay and a protocol. But when they got to know me I felt I got them more engaged in my case. So grateful to hear Jack has that with the Herculean struggle he has. But I will be praying with more insight now for him. God bless you all. - Patti

Margo thank you for the update on Jack. Sue it was so nice to read your message too. You are both in my prayers and I am imploring God to take good care of you both during this difficult time. Having such a terrific medical team helps to make treatment much more bearable and hopeful- thank the Lord for such talented doctors, nurses, etc. God bless you both!
