Hi everybody, I posted about quilting with health problems and someone pointed me to this category. (I should have done my homework to see if there was a category already in progress). I know that some of you have fibromyalgia. I have it also, along with degenerative discs and bone spurs in my neck. One bone spur is growing at a 90 degree angle into the spinal canal. I don't have nerve impingement ...yet, just constant pain. I don't have trigger points in my muscles - I AM a trigger point!! Unfortunately, chronic pain usually leads to depression, so some days it's just hard to get started doing anything. However, after reading the posts here, I feel very blessed. I did get some relief in November, 2006. One day, I was sitting in my sewing room, talking with my husband and daughter, and I could feel the pain and oppression leave my body. Everything was clearer, the pain was gone, it was great. I had about a month that was pain free. Then around Christmas, I fell and bent my neck in the wrong direction and since then, the pain is back. But I know miracles happen, so don't give up. Sorry to be so long. I tend to write like I talk -- profusely!! Ricky and Alex, do we have a page limit to our posts?!! I hope everyone of you has a good, restful sleep and that you feel better tomorrow, because tomorrow is "a new day"! Sharon in TN
