Then I will practice machine quilting as I have taken a class on it, and I get Leah Day's newsletters all the time.

Crocus, I am scared every time I think about FMQ. Doing it is not quite as frightening as thinking about it. I'll tell you one thing for sure. I have done tons and tons of practice pieces but when I started quilting on something that really mattered is when I felt as if I was really starting to see some improvement. I also decided just like everything else I can't start out being good and I am very happy with my far less than perfect results. Lois

Just finished the binding. Now for the label and to find a good location to photograph it. The latter is the hardest part, but it will be done!

Mary Jo I love your quilt and Barb what a neat bag. I just got my quilt finished and sent in my pictures April 22, so you ladies can get yours finished in time also. I have faith in you. Shirley35

Well, several weeks ago I turned away from my hst quilt to do quilts for two dear friends in treatment for/recovery from cancer, knowing it would probably mean I would not make the completion deadline for the book. I'm OK with that, and can't wait to see the quilts from everyone else. I'll post a picture when mine is finished, and when I have permission, I'll post the other two for all to see. The hst quilts are amazing, and so different. Bunch of talented quilters on this site! :D

That's where your problem is - there is a 'plug in the way', better pull that plug out quick  (as long as it is not the electricty plug  )

Eeeek, I have to stop quilting today. Gotta madly clean house, pick up kids and old friends are coming by to visit that just flew in from NH. Better oil my machine first thing in the morning, because I will have some catching up to do. Clara

Have a fun surprise visit! Don't worry about the house if they are real friends that won't matter!
