Got it! :D :D In the "riding pillion whilst hand quilting event" there will be no hugging hunky guys and hanging on tight. :( :( :( Lois

aww! spoilsport! couldn't we have a 'hand-quilting over the petrol tank, from behind the driver' class? Personally I would choose a lean driver - cos I've only got short arms (and the rest of me)

Rosemary, you are so petite, you could straddle the tank, facing the hunky biker. Then you could hand-quilt whilst occasionally gazing into his eyes, and he would have his arms around you and still be able to see the track by looking over your head........ right?! 8)

you flatterer you! - but yes he could probably could view the track over my head no problem (nearly everyone else does over the age of 12  ) now if only I had learnt tailoring crossed legged, it would be a doddle.

Truely, I didn't mean to be a spoil sport I just thought it a physical impossibility. It takes someone much more clever    than I am to figure out how its done. And more than that I am never ceased to be amazed how easy we are to be entertained.   Lois

Where there is a will, there is a way - just don't get between a quilter and her quilting.. right

Frivolity, nonsense, and light entertainment refreshes the soul & makes the stitching go quicker 8) (or not as the case might be if you end up spending too much time on the site reading  )

Isn't it great to have the time to spend on the site reading!

So here's another possible entry: Quilt-related Surfing. :D

Rita, would we have to surf WITH a quilt, ON a quilt, or whilst making a quilt??

The UK is starting to be in Olympics/Diamond Jubilee feever, fuelled by trade and industry, I'm sure. I went shopping today for some essentials such a toilet paper, pasta, milk, etc., and spotted a special display in the shop with toothbrushes in patriotic red, white, and blue stripes.

Points deducted for spilling food on the quilt and making a stain.
