So glad to hear of how God is working in Ruth's life. I will continue to pray for all of those mentioned in the previous posts.

I recently sent a message to Pattisure because I hadn't been seeing much of her around the webcite. She replied saying that she has been struggling with stress at work and very frequent migraines since December. Regardless she has been working on a goal of making 12 quilts of valor. She is hoping to get her HST Exchange quilt on the long arm this weekend and knock it out in time for the deadline. I think prayers and messages of encouragement are in order. Lois

Hello friends. I wanted to update you folks on my Dad since his knee replacement. He is doing much better and seeming his old self (no pun intended--yikes) more and more each day. He had trouble with the pain medicine, but is now taking Tylenol each day as needed while the medicine works its way out of his system. He will be in the rehabilitation center a couple more weeks. Had a couple uneasy and scary moments; like when he woke in the night completely disoriented and stood up and got out of bed before he realized he really isn't supposed to do that! He makes comments, man's man comments like when he started to get out of bed and I said, "shouldn't you call someone when you do that?" His answer: "Well, yeah, but I'm not gonna." God has protected Him though and continues to bring Dad along in the healing. Thank you for your prayers, so much.
Blessings,
Jane

Prayer warriors needed!

Postby RGold » Wed May 09, 2012 9:04 pm

We need the prayer warriors! I've just heard from Eileen Keane (eileenkny) that her daughter Keri has been diagnosed with lymphoma. I don't yet know any of the details, but will post them as I have them. I believe Keri is about 29. In the meantime, please pray for Keri, her parents Eileen and Mike, and the whole family! Robin
