EQ7 -- what do you think?

EQ7 -- what do you think?

Postby Sewdreamy » Wed Jun 16, 2010 10:47 am

Hi all. I finally got my EQ7 and got it installed. I have only played with it a little bit, but I haven't seen a whole lot of difference yet except it has photography editing in it, and I had that covered elsewhere. I haven't had much time with it yet, so there are probably things I haven't discovered. Have any of you all that have it found a lot of differences et? What do you think about it so far? Am I missing something? (Note: I STILL think it is a wonderful piece of software and am glad I got the update).

Cheers,

BJ

I just got mine in the mail today, and still need to install. So it will be nice to hear what everyone has to say.

I have only played a little. The image editing will be the different for me but I am not there yet. I will play this afternoon. I am going through the lesson now. I am looking forward to seeing any differences in the Custom Layout. Checking the Info EQ blog is an absolute necessity for me since they come up with problems and solutions to things I never imagine.

I just got my update as well, haven't really played with it yet, but what I want to know is; am I the only one who'd like to see a Mac version? Right now, I have to use it on my laptop.

Got to play a little with it at my sister's house using photo's and LOVE it. We were both sitting there ooohing. For me, i have a mac and wish they would come out with a compatible EQ. I have to get the windows full version before I can install. $200 on top of the EQ price. But then I could also use my inklingo on the mac which I miss.

Does anyone out there use Quilt Pro? Or, does anyone have their Mac set up to use EQ7? I am interested in reviews. Lois

I tried Quilt Pro on my Mac but could never get the hang of it after using EQ for so long. I have EQ on a laptop PC and use something called Remote Desktop Connection to access it from my Mac so it's just another window on my Mac. Never really liked using parallels.

I've used Quilt Pro for years and, although did buy EQ7, I still find myself getting frustrated with it and go back to Quilt Pro. I guess it's because I'm more familiar with it. I'm using a PC.
