Wendy, what fun! Thanks for linking us to those stunning silhouette quilts. I have an idea, I should sketch it because it will just have to remain an idea for now (which I might forget it I don't commit it to paper :( :() but I would love to try it.

Those look like a fun way to use up itty bitty pieces, and I love silhouettes anyway.

by the way, for those interested, I just read the label on the bottle of chocovok, which I bought at Selby Game Fair, and found this address http://www.lightningspirits.com and for the technically minded it is alc.26%abv....aaaahh, hic...just testing to make sure that it hasn't gone off yet

Wendy, your quilts are stunning and what a wonderful blog, you shared. I love the texture like watercolor paper it is written on

Yes she's very creative. Please post pics if anyone has a go. What would you all silhouette?

Rosemary are you still conscious?

She must be sozzled by now! :D

If I were going to do this I would probably make silhouettes of my kids heads, or maybe my parents. And I think I might do them quite small - just like a silhouette would have been in ye olde days.

I would probably silhouette my dog and cats or maybe some columbine flowers. Or maybe, if my mom still has it, the silhouette of my head that one of my teachers made when I was a kid. That could be kind of fun!

Hey.... I only had one swig, the bottle is still over half full, it is far too good to gulp down like water!

I've just thought of a lovely picture that I took in Spain a few years ago, of the whole family, that could work nicely for a silhouette. That list is getting longer by the minute
