Ricky and Justin are attending the 25th anniversary show for the American Quilter's Society in Paducah, Kentucky. Ricky was able to take these shots of the stunning Best of Show quilt. It is called Renaissance Revival. It is made by Mariya Waters from Australia. Mariya was able to make it to the show and so everyone here is thrilled to meet her. The quilt took 4 and a half years to make. The applique is outlined by hand with a decorative thread. The same outline is also couched on the back with the same decorative thread.
