Carol Schillios, Fabric of Life Foundation Founder, has a boutique located in Edmonds, Washington where the many fabrics and wares created by the women in the foundation can be purchased. Alex and John visited Carol at the boutique in the fall of 2009. While there, they also enjoyed the works of quilt artist, Briana Knight. Fabric of Life's focus is on improving the quality of life for women and their families through sustainable, appropriate technology that respects and honors local traditions and cultures.
