More than 100,000 people have seen the 52 extraordinary quilts in the "Alzheimer's: Forgetting Piece by Piece" traveling exhibit. As you know, this isn't an easy exhibit to see. Many people find they can only look at a few quilts at a time before becoming overwhelmed with emotion. Some just find the experience too much to bear. The CD of the quilts has helped a lot, letting people click through the quilts at home, in private, listening to the voices of the artists tell about their work. (I always recommend tissues and chocolate.)
Now we will have a book! Alzheimer's: Forgetting Piece by Piece will be published this summer. You can order your copy NOW for a June delivery at http://www.amisimms.com/buybook.html
Purchase a book to experience the quilts AND to help find a cure. All profit is being donated to Alzheimer's research. For yourself, for a friend, for someone walking in the shadow of Alzheimer's...you can help.
