Sue Garman headed over to the Austin Area Quilt Guild Show and Sale over the weekend.  The guild has 600 members and over 400 quilts were hung in the show.  We'll wouldn't you know it, but there was a first place winner with a pretty familiar quilt.  Mary Laminack won First Place in the "Kit, Calendar, Block-of-the-Month and Pre-Stamped Quilts Made by More than One Person, All Sizes" category.  To quote Sue, "Phew."
