Every time I have seen Japanese quilts I have been totally amazed at the beautiful work they do. They can make quilts that have the tiniest pieces as well as the regular sizes. I have always seen their quilts "hand quilted" also. Do they ever machine quilt their beautiful work I wonder? Might spoil it. My thanks for sharing these with us Mary Noel

Beautiful applique, the quilt designs are all so intricate, do the quilters make their own designs - or use commercial patterns?
