The velvet is actually a silk/rayon....that is then hand-dyed by my dear friend Beth Hartford at www.quiltersstitchtogether.com. It is truly yummy to work with....not to mention the colors are so very rich! It does have a bit of stretch to it ...but with my particular form of appliqué...it does not pose any problems. Contact Beth for more info..... she can custom dye any color range you might be looking for....she's amazing!....Annette |
