Aaaarrrr.....me thinks ye better leave the piratey gig for the "private" times ^_* Special, just for Alex. Ahoy, Matey! Glad to have you with us full time. After all, was it not your idea to put this out via the web? Way to go, John. We're looking forward to many more great achievements. Jan

I don’t think Johnny Depp has anything to worry about! He can wear feathers better than anyone! “Captain” definitely suits John. But, as soon as I saw the picture, I thought, “Where’s Tennille?” : ) Congrats, John, as a new chapter in your life starts! Kathy in CA

Reminds me of the time my boss was promoted to Director of our unit. We asked her, "So, Kathy, what do we have to call you now?" She replied, "I think 'Your Majesty' would be nice." Pat in Rockport, TX, LOL

Captain John should definitely wear the captain's hat--the feathers are a BIT MUCH!!! I'm sure John will wear MANY hats with his new job. Good luck, John, with further building of this great quilting community!!!

well, shiver me timbers, he needs the bandanna plus the pirates hat..and perhaps an eye patch just or fun on certain days and then call him Capt'n.

Capt'n John for sure! The pirates hat sure looks like fun! The captains hat looks very serious. Maybe the captains hat for board meetings and the pirates hat for "fun" days! WandaM

If we can have Bad Bart, then we should have Cap'n John or Cap'n Jack (after all that is the nickname of John) and Alex can relate to that for Cap'n Jack Sparrow but let's tie a bandana around his head with pirate's hat. Judy in AZ

Okay, "I like them both" and I find them both very fitting! The pirate is working but the feathers hmmmmm, too cute! Now the other one is very fitting too. What can I say; "I'm not stepping out of my zone" on that one! Looking Good! Good Luck John !!! :)

Well, I don't think the pirate's hat with the feather boa flatters John's good looks. He's much more distinguished in the Captain's cap, so Captain John would be a good name.

C'mon, guys, treat the man with respect! You wrote "We all feel that finally having someone in the driver's seat will help", so skip the feathered creation and give him the dignified skipper's cap. (And maybe a sword and scabbard to wear around his waist until he establishes his new policies ..... LOL.)
