Another great recycling idea. Use an old, plastic chopping board -the sort with a hole for the handle- and wrap with several layers of batting, leaving the handle free for carrying. Use a strong double sided tape to secure to plastic. Then cover with cotton fabric or an inexpensive ironing board cover (wraps around a couple of times). This makes a small, portable ironing surface to take to classes or workshops, complete with a carryhandle.
