I agree with Lauretta. We are taking the human element out of too many things. Real people need jobs. Real people need socialization. People NEED people!!

NO NO No. We want real people to deal with at the grocery store. Please do not use those self check out things Alex. That light bulb might need that job someday. (maybe even one of our kids or grandkids.)

So here it is almost 11:00pm in Los Angeles, I take my last few waking minutes to check out TQS and you show me donuts. That's just plain mean!!! I can smell them, I can taste them, but I can't have them. How will I ever get to sleep? Oh woe is Ann in So. Cal.

Alex, I'm not much on grocery store shopping either. The moment I set foot in a grocery store a feeling of panic comes over me!! Those darn aisles are so confusing! At least you did the self-checkout using the 'robot' thingy. I like having a REAL person check me out.

Okay, here's what I want to know: Were you wearing your apple green shoes to match your sweater? I bought those shoes when I saw you on the motorcycle with them. They are my faves! Ellen - San Pedro, CA

Do you see that? Apple Fritters! I never appreciated that every single donut store in California always sold yummy, extremely full-of-fat fritters until I moved to New York and can't find them... except at Starbuck's, which aren't the same... If I was the lightbulb, I would have chosen the apple fritter!

Alex, you are crazy! Were there people in that store watching you talk to a camera? Or are they used to that in California! Loved that segment. My husband's b-day was yesterday, so he is in good company with the light bulb! Our claim to fame here in Gilford, NH is ..... well, I'm still looking! L.
