The most unusual place I have found inspiration for a quilt was when I went to my brother-in-law's office where he had stacks and stacks of computers piled up against the mini blinds. The backs of the computers were facing outward and all that texture (circles, rectangles, squares etc.) just made me happy! I took some pictures, went home and made a quilt. It turned out wonderful! My family thought I was crazy, (what's new!) but they were very impressed with the outcome.
