"Stop and Smell the Rose Garden" (1st place) - Michael Miller's wonderfully delicious pink pastel floral fabric seemed the perfect piece to inspire creation of this 86 x 64" 103-kaleidoscopic garden of roses entitled "Stop and Smell the Rose Garden." It was entirely pieced and quilted by me on my BERNINA 440-QE. The original design is Linda Causee's "Wacky Wedge". I adore it so much that I've made 7 of them! I am very proud to say that this quilt was juried into the Denver National Quilt Festival's "Peak of Perfection" May 3-6, 2007 and won a 1st place Blue Ribbon at the New Braunfels Area Quilt Guild Quilt Show here in Texas at "Stitchin' in the Garden" July 21-23 2006.
