You've got to keep a sense of humor about the weather when living in this neck of the woods, from a sunny, warm, window open spring day in the sewing room to this... oh well, just another excuse to hibernate and sew instead of spring clean up around the farm, though the annual shipments of gravel did arrive and this weather was a blessing to keep the ground soft for the rock to work into the yard for a firmer surface for the semi's to move around on. OK down to business. As I I told U, the Convoy days are much more than just a big truck parade. With the help of a local fire department, a healthy dose of good old fashioned competion brings out just how competitive these special athletes are... 
Next episode ya'll will get a peek at how we "Get Down & Funky & Rock the House" with some fine local musicians. The quilt is coming along nicely but not as fast as I would like, The short break to applique down the gems shooting out from the star came at most welcomed time. And I still can't seem to get rid of that darn singing frog though, lol. Sew it is "2 seams forward, 1 seam back, Rippit, Rippit, Rippit, Craaaap! Good news is, it won't be long until the last inset block gets set in, hopefully by 2moro noon, then it's all borders & straight seams. Can U tell I am getting anxious for the quilting to begin.
