It's back to business, well FUN business that is. The Special Olympic Athletes don't just enjoy a jolt of healthy competition, they also like music and "Thanks" to a local trucker who's sister who owns a Karaoke business and is willing to take time to join our festivities, the athletes keep us listening and clapping along...
The Karaoke is also a fun way to enjoy some fellowship while waiting for those long lunch lines...
After a good meal, it is auction time. But the day doesn't end there...now it's time to " Kick Up Our Heels" with some entertainment from a very special trucker/songwriter/country singer who has his 1st CD out and working on the next, so be sure to check back for Part 5. It's one you won't want to miss !!! Now for the Finale... DAT, DA DA DAAAH....THE TOP IS DONE, WOO HOO !
Well, I'm off to round up some extra muscle help to set the tables up in the garage so the basting can begin. With the truck shop right here on the farm, it shouldn't take too long to find a burly guy to help get the job done as Dear hubby is up in Minot, ND unloading fresh produce, then onto Fargo before heading southbound home. I surely will not be waiting for him to pull in to get going, LOL. Sew, Til Next Blog...
