I am still waiting for the concert/dance pics from Marty. He had some “puter” woes and has promised them to me as soon as he is back up running and has caught up on his trucking paperwork. So stay tuned, we will get there soon. In the meantime . . . It’s been a busy week so little progress has been made on quilting, but it was not a total loss. One of the activities that kept me away from working on the quilt was a “Superior Thread Open Thread Bar” workshop and lecture that I took time out to attend at the LQS . . .Owner TQS member: sewsara. It was a fun day and evening and in true Dakota style hospitality, we took a short break from the lecture so the Superior Thread Rep, Kathy Ward, could see her very 1st hail storm. Then, what has become normal weather for our spring, the cold wet weather settled back in and I found my joints not behaving, so back to a bit of practice to loosen them up. Well, Miss Molly has become very fond of her chair which is right next to the sewing table, but strategically placed so she can also watch the activity out the window and I guess she decided she needed to check my work and see if it was up to snuff . . .
Good thing the camera was in arms reach. I usually miss out on these kodak moments. Sew, Til Next Blog...
