I am married and have three young daughters so I always have someone to make a quilt for! My husband and I run a business from home, so I get to be here for my family, but with a bunch of little ones running around, the only quilting time I get is after the kids go to bed!

OK all you Photoshop Elements users -- here's your tutorial about creating a slideshow! It's a video/screenshot tutorial and once again I got a bit chatty so it's in two parts. Part 1 can be viewed by clicking here or by clicking the "Watch This Video" button. Part 2 should show up on the same You Tube screen, but if it doesn't, click here to view it.

Now I've only had this program for about a week and this just shows how I was able to do it. If anyone out there is more experienced in using this software and has a better way, and easier way, or a faster way, we'd love it if you'd share!

Dave and the kids and I went to Navy Pier in Chicago the other day. (I'll blog more this weekend about our fun little day trip.) While we were there, we visited the Smith Museum of Stained Glass Windows. It's just beautiful and full of quilt inspiration! The slideshow below shows some of the gorgeous windows and is an expanded version of the slideshow I created in the video. So if you don't have Photoshop, enjoy these beautiful windows instead!
