WOW..where did the summer go. The fields are starting to turn, the produce stands are shifting from more delicate commodities to hearty squashes & melons and those beautiful fall blooming mums.

Where did the summer go you say, since it has been over 2 mths since I blogged. The 2532_sewing_001.jpgtime has been spent keeping busy sewing garments, learning to sew curved seams. They are suppose to be precise, but I think caveman is more like it, LOL, good thing I have room to square up. WOO HOO...The baby playmat roads quilt will be finished in time for christmas for sure. . .

There have also been a plether of weddings this yr and here is a snippit of the most 2532_jeffkaylaweddingslides.gifrecent wedding of our daughters closest friend since grade school. . .

Then a few have asked me about embroidering on towels, well I said I didn't hoop, but 2532_sewing_002.jpgunfortunately for me this last batch of towels were heavier and thicker, so in the hoop they went..florianni stitch and wash tearaway on the back and solvy lightweight on the top . . . roll over for the finished towel design . . .

Finally, I am back on board making the time to get caught up on the TQS BOM's. Aug done and onto July..yep...working backwards keeps life interesting.  . . roll over for a peek at how I am tackling those berries . . . 2532_tqs_bom_002.jpg

Sew Long and Quilt Happy,
