I got into doing quilting, by one thing progressing into another. It started with clothes making, then machine embroidery and digitising (this addiction is going for 10 years plus now) and then quilting. I enjoy combining embroidery with the quilting. The possibilities are endless!! (and it does not always end the way I planned!!)

It is for comfort too......

I made this quilt (yup, the binding is not done yet) for my sister in law. Our family is scattered all over the world, so her quilt got a message from all the family members in their own handwriting that I then digitized and embroidered it. I finished it off with some freehand feather quilting in the border and also in the sashing. The squares has been filled with a overall whirly curly kind of design.
