It may not seem like a big deal to many of you but I am so proud of myself for completing this baby quilt.  I haven't done any quilting since last November so when my daughter asked me to make a baby quilt for a friend who is having a baby I used it as an opportunity to get back on track.  My only stipulation was that it would not be hand quilted.  Melissa (my daughter picked the butterfly pattern) and told me the nursery was in pinks and browns.  The butterflies are needleturned applique.  I delivered the quilt Wednesday evening and the shower was Thursday after school.  The friend is the assistant principal at the school where my daughter works.  Melissa said the quilt was a big hit.  I love the finished quilt. It is 50" x 50".  Theused for border fabric for the backing.  The picture doesn't do it justice but it is a topsy turvy toile fabric.
