TQS Production Sponsor Gammill Quilting Systems will sponsor the Quilt National exhibit at the 2008 International Quilt Festival, held from October 30 - November 2, 2008 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, TX. 

"Quilt National is the most important contemporary art quilt exhibit in the Quilts, Inc. family of events," stated Vicki Mangum, Manager of Special Exhibits, Quilts, Inc.  The works in a Quilt National exhibit display a reverence for the lessons taught by our quilting heritage, while--at the same time--expanding the boundaries of traditional quiltmaking through the use of the newest materials and technologies. Hundreds of international quilt artists--sometimes more than 1,000--submit entries for each biennial Quilt National, but fewer than 100 are selected.

Preparation in Full Swing for Series 4
It's that time again! The TQS production crew has descended upon the town of La Veta, CO, this time to prepare for the taping of Series 4. It takes two days of hard work to transform the gallery into a studio and audience space.  Everyone is charged up for six days of tapings and, of course, "Pirate Day." (Any guess as to who chose the theme this time around?) Check the Daily Blog: we will, as always, bring you lots of behind-the-scenes videos of all the action. Get ready for some cheeky times, matey!  Aargh!
