 Grandmother's Legacy by Gail Thomas
Grandmother's Legacy Wins at NQA Event We had a feeling as we watched this quilt evolve that it was destined to be an award winner...and we were right! Just this past week, its creator, Gail Thomas, informed us that her quilt, Grandmother's Legacy, took first place in the Pictorial Quilt Category at the NQA event held recently in Columbus, OH. Kudos to Gail on a job well done.

Tip of the Week: Grab-and-Go Pencil Pouch Are you forever forgetting a necessary quilting tool when rushing off for a quilt retreat or class? Why not look back to your "grammar-school days" for help in getting organized? Here's how:
Remember those clear pencil pouches that clipped so easily into your three-ring binder? Buy yourself a handful and keep these handy containers packed with your thread, needles, seam rippers, and other necessary tools. When it's time to head out the door, simply pick up the pouches and go. For just a few dollars, you'll save yourself time and frustration.
