Bernina Educational Video: Riding the Ridge Susan and Nina are up to some wonderful tricks in the video. Riding the ridge is a technique for attaching a binding strictly by machine with wonderful results. By creating a 'piping' that acts as a guide, you can attach your binding without having to guess where the stiching line might be.

Color Cascade Quilting in the Garden had a wonderful exhibit entitled Color Cascade which was the result of a challenge to nineteen women known as the Sewjourners. Each woman had to reach into a paper bag and pull out "their" color. They then had to create an 18" x 40" quilt which read as that color from ten feet away.
Do you think you could do it? What if it wasn't a color you liked? Would you accept the challenge? These women did and the results are brilliant.
