| I made my first quilt in 1962. I didn't make very many while the kids were growing up, but once they left the nest and I finished my BSN, I could have a life. I've entered a few times in Paducah and Houston, and actually got a 1st in Houston in 1994 and a 3rd there in 1999, which was very exciting. In the last 10 years, I've been collecting and using old people-powered sewing machines. |
