| · Description: | This is the better of two quilts made in the same pattern! I have a b/w photo of these on double beds in my parents master bedroom. These were obviously hand made as there are matching "issues" in the pieced border of both. All cross stitch and embroidery were hand done with embroidery floss. The green appears to be the "40's green", but I am uncertain when these were made and by who. Unfortunately, anyone that I could ask has passed away. While I listed this as a traditional pattern, I am not sure as I haven't seen anything like these two. This one that is pictured is in the best condition with only a very small, light stain. Its twin has several small stains that are darker. Bindings show slight wear. Otherwise, both quilts are in tip top condition. |
