| · Description: | This quilt was made from t-shirts, sweatshirts, and towels to chronicle Kristen's high school athletic involvement. Her mother commissioned it for her university graduation. The layout was a bit of a trial and error exercise...to balance the different sized graphics and combine them with spacer strips. Any books I'd seen on the subject of t-shirt quilts cut them all the same size. I wanted something more interesting...not just a quilt made of t-shirts, but a great quilt design that just happened to be made out of t-shirts. |
