| · Description: | I wanted to use the Rose of Sharon Pattern, but also like the look of the Irish Chain, so I combined the two blocks to create this quilt. This is a California King size quilt that I call my 'dream quilt'. I've always planned on making this but life threw me a few curves along the way and I quit quilting for about 7 years. This is appliqued by machine using clear thread. I hand sewed little yo-yo's for the flower centers. This has also been hand quilted. This took a total of 2 years and four months to complete, but I could only work on the weekends and between other projects. |
