| · Description: | After taking a class on making waves from Karen Eckmeier, I used her technique to create a 'beachscape' from a picture of MacArthur Beach State Park, in Palm Beach County, Florida. The water is embellished with Angelina, the clouds and hills are trapunto and the grass and reeds are cut pieces of fabric connected with thread. I thread painted people and birds and quilted it very tightly to create an illusion of depth in the scene. |
