Summer Sunflowers

Several differnt landscape fabrics were combined to form one background image. The interlocking squares form a kind of trellis for the sunflowers. I know sunflowers don't need a trellis but I do love them. |

Custom quilt made especially for Jessica's 2011 birthday gift, featuring t-shirts saved from her time of service in the Net Ministries; also features a special machine embroidery block which I personally created from digitizing the NM logo. I used her favorite colors -purple & yellow- from the Stonehenge collection for both the sashing cornerstones, the outer border and the backing fabric.
