I got the BOM kit the beginning of February so had a late start. No matter, I'm getting caught up! I just love having the kit! The fabrics are so pretty and just my kind.
I love paper piecing but this is the first I've removed the paper from the sections before sewing them together. Made me nervous and I'm not sure I'd do it that way next time. I always remove the paper in the seam allowance right after I stitch it so have never had the problem of getting the paper out. But part of my problem/hesitation could have been that I paper piece on freezer paper (preshrunk) and so the fabric was ironed on and didn't just fall off.
Anyway... quite pleased with my star! :) |
