Washable Coloring place mat
I drew out my pattern onto my fabric then I used a decorative stitch to outline the complete pattern. The mat can be colored on each side because it is reversable. I have been making these for my Grand-Daughters since 2008 in different designs. I also use a embossed fabric so when it is colored in the design pops thru. These are colored in with washable markers and can be washed and colored over and over. The stitching does not let the colors bleed. The batting does not let it bleed to reverse side. Children enjoy designing there mats. Fun Fun Fun!
